Meditation Classes - Cowper Cottage Wellness

In Faye’s experience, basic meditation is a way to take yourself out of the day-to-day challenger we all face, to create a safe space where you can take a breath, relax and recharge. Through meditation, you can learn to find peace and harmony, strengthening yourself on the physical, emotional and spiritual level. It is a reprieve.

Six-week introductory course for beginners and those who struggle to meditate

For those who are new to meditation, students will learn how to breathe properly, and how to create a safe space in which to meditate. This is followed by simple guided relaxation meditation techniques (often called mindfulness). You will learn how to still the mind and bring yourself back to a place of peace regardless of the imposing thoughts that may interrupt you in the early days of practice.  The six-week course will allow students to experience the meditative state, learn how to protect their energy, provide techniques to practice at home and set the groundwork for further spiritual development should the student wish to continue their journey of self-discovery. This course is currently provided on a Monday or Thursday evening from 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm and is provided via Zoom.

Further studies

Ten-week Intermediate courses

Commencing later this year, Faye will facilitate a ten-week course for those who are more committed to their spiritual journey and wish to continue their training. These courses will introduce the student to trance meditation, spirit connection and the human energy system. The course provides a strong basis for further studies in developing your intuition and mediumship skills.
